
Chi Kung
The difference between western medicine and the practice of ancient Chinese medicine is that modern western medicine is based on a concept of a doctor helping you after you become ill, where in Chinese medicine the practictioner was paid only if there was no illness in the village. Chinese practitioners found that one way to keep the villagers healthy was excercise. These exercises are called Chi Kung - translated is "the awakening of life energy". Chi Kung is also known as Qi Gong and is referred to as meditation in movement.
The Chi Kung segment is presented by Max Tack. He came in contact with Chinese martial arts and health regimens in Holland and later in England.. His appetite for knowledge of these excercises brought him to many other teachers. He made several trips to China where he met two different masters who were both traditional Chinese doctors and also masters in the leading martial arts.
The use of Chi Kung is increasingly recognized by western medical doctors. These fluid soft movements create flowing energy and the exercises are suitable for everyone. Their effects on physical, mental, and emotional health are enormous. Stress and pain will disappear. You will have more energy and a feeling of well-being and happiness. Improved breathing, blood-pressure, circulation, and decreased colestoral counts.
Eye meditation
We work in twos - In the first session it is man / man - woman / woman and in the next session with man / woman - woman / man. We look through the eyes of the partner to the mirror of the soul. Sometimes you will think you see a part of the other, and the more unbiased you look, the more you'll discover.
Sufi Meditation
In the active morning meditation you enlarge the lifespace [aura] around you. This is neccessary for spiritual growth. You will also twirl in space for 15 minutes to disperse your thoughts and concentrate your essence. Each of these excercises is done at an individuals own speed. Afterwards you will sit quietly to taste the silence that is within you.
